BIOFUEL PRODUCTION USING ORANGE PEELS

In large cities such as Mexico City, the production of urban solid waste is alarming, so the use of waste is of vital importance. In this project, we propose to recover orange peels to produce biodiesel and other products of commercial interest. To do this, the collected peels must be dried and pulverized to extract the oil with n-hexane. The process produces, in smaller quantities but with high economic value, D-limonene, ...more »
